Welcome to the home page for the Potomac River Yacht Club (PRYC) at Oak Grove, VA. We are not a member of the Potomac River Yacht Clubs Association. We are an independent yacht club. PRYC is located in Oak Grove, VA at Stepp's Harbor View Marina on Mattox Creek off of the Potomac River. We have been in existence since 1967.

Goals

Our goals are to promote good fellowship among our members and members of similar organizations, arrange social activities off and on shore for our members, and encourage safety and courtesy in boating practices. Our community project is maintaining the markers in Mattox Creek. PRYC endeavors to exhibit a trace of yachting custom with the absence of haughty attitudes.

Membership

There is no prerequisite for membership in PRYC. The membership fee is $45 annually. Fees are payable by check made out to PRYC. Please pay your membership fees to the treasurer by June 6. New members may obtain a membership form from one of the PRYC Officers. Current members who wish to make changes to their membership information need to contact the Secretary.

Members may have their own web page at this site for posting pictures of their boats. There is a $5 annual fee for the boat web page. Please contact the Commodore if you are interested.
